I'll second everything Sanwin said. Give it a try. One of the features I've learned to look for when trying OCR tools is specifically how they handle lines and paragraphs of text.
They do it to maintain absolute control over text placement. But I find it is a too strict interpretation of the OCR concept and it makes editing the result effectively impossible because each line is treated as a separate entity. Why does MS have to keep changing things. Looks like I'm not getting the results they suggest with OneNote.

I then clicked on the the box with 1 on it and it came up to the top of the highlighted OCR Clicked continue and get the message "Configuring MS Office". When it has finished, it states that it will be complete at the opening of the next Office program.
Can anyone tell me where it's located? The only difference in the procedure between and was that the former required the Office disk to instal the OCR while the latter did not ask for anything. If the disk is required for , how can I get it to request it? Hope someone can sort this out for me. This thread is locked.
